Follow the egg all the way to an earning pet

An egg at the base and a pet earning cash are different states. In the reviewed Superlex sequence, a Basic Egg displays Common and Ready near 0:45; by 0:50, a Chicken and the base show 12 cash per second. That sequence confirms the two visible states, but does not reveal every interaction between them.↗

Start by finding which state you can actually see. A clone still returning is not a stuck hatch. A visible countdown is not a ready egg. A ready egg is not proof that a pet has appeared. Tracking those distinctions is faster than buying a boost before knowing which step needs attention.

Check one egg without losing track of it

  1. Keep one egg identifiable by its label and position. Record the starting countdown if one is shown.
  2. Return to the same egg and compare its state after a known interval.
  3. When it reads ready, inspect the prompt in your current client.
  4. Follow the interaction that is actually offered, then identify the resulting pet.
  5. Record any base-income change with the active setup and modifiers still noted.

If you began at 40 seconds remaining and came back 15 seconds later, about 25 seconds would remain under a simple uninterrupted countdown. That is an illustrative consistency check, not a measured rule. A mismatch deserves another look at the same egg and connection state; it does not establish an expiry, paid requirement or known bug.

Do not infer hatch odds from a single ready egg or a short creator montage. Likewise, the recorded Chicken’s 12/s is a label in that account. It does not establish what every Chicken earns before modifiers or guarantee that every Basic Egg hatches the same pet. Record a result as a sample from your session.

When comparing hatch versus sell, first read the current sale value and ask whether you need the egg for income, collection or another stated objective. The source material here does not establish a complete sale-value table or a universally best choice. Keep any sale separate from ordinary pet earnings in your cash ledger.

If the pet appears but your wallet seems unchanged, watch a longer interval and inspect the units. A rounded wallet can hide small increments. Check the pet-income guide before assuming the hatch failed or that another purchase is required.

What to look for

  1. 0:45Ready egg

Identify Basic Egg, Common and Ready in the base.

  2. 0:50Pet-income state

Read the Chicken and base /s labels separately from the wallet balance.

Keep a useful record

Use the short worksheet for this decision. Fill only the fields you can read or measure; leave an uncertain result marked unknown. A second observation is useful only when you can compare the same setup. Keep the date with your readings so a later balance change does not silently turn an old result into a current rule.

The egg is still waitingRead its visible state or timer; check placement and available spaceWaiting is not the same failure as an unsuccessful hatch action.
A hatch action produced no visible changeLook for a menu message, the egg state and a new inventory entryDo not repeatedly spend or sell while the result is unclear.
The pet exists but Cash looks unchangedCheck the active earning setup and compare an uninterrupted wallet intervalA pet label alone is not a measured wallet increase.
The inventory is hard to auditWrite down egg and pet counts before one hatchOne action at a time makes the outcome traceable.

Keep the hatch result separate from upgrades and code rewards during the check. If you ask for help, include the egg state, free space, exact message and what changed after one action; avoid describing all four symptoms as “hatching broken”.
