Start with the speed you still need

Find your current speed and the next target’s displayed requirement, then measure how quickly training closes the gap. The official game description confirms training as the way to gain speed. It does not publish a universal rate or a formula for every modifier.↗

A useful training decision needs three numbers: current speed, target speed and speed gained per second. The wallet is a fourth, separate number if you are considering a treadmill purchase. Keep the units in the note. A screen showing +3 Speed/s cannot be entered as three cash per second in the upgrade planner.

Basic is equipped at plus 1 speed per second; Silver shows plus 3 speed per second and a 500-cash button.

Measure your current training rate

  1. Read the speed counter before starting a fixed interval.
  2. Use the same equipped treadmill, boosts and training state throughout.
  3. Read speed again at the end. Divide the gain by elapsed seconds.
  4. Repeat if rounded counters make the change too small to read clearly.

If an illustrative counter rises from 900 to 1,080 in 60 seconds, the observed rate is 180 ÷ 60 = 3 speed per second. To reach 1,500 from 1,080 at that steady rate takes 420 ÷ 3 = 140 seconds. That is an estimate for unchanged conditions, not a promise that the target will unlock in precisely 140 seconds.

When a treadmill upgrade helps

A faster treadmill is relevant when training is the delay holding back a target you want. Compare its current cash price with the time saved after you can afford it. If the purchase takes a long time to fund, training on the current machine may cover much of the gap while you save. The dedicated Silver example shows how to include that wait.

Keep separate questions separate
QuestionUseful reading
Can I reach this target?Current speed and live target requirement
How long will training take?Remaining speed divided by observed training rate
Can I afford this machine?Wallet balance and current cash price
Will cash income improve?A separate comparable earnings reading

Record a potion timer when one is visible. Do not extend a boosted rate beyond the remaining window, or assume a training boost also raises cash. If the timer ends during your interval, split the measurement at that point. Otherwise the average blends two states and will overstate the rate available after the boost ends.

Avoid treating a video’s edited runtime as a training benchmark. Cuts, rewards and purchases can change the account between scenes. Likewise, the reviewed material does not establish an exact player-speed-to-clone-speed formula. For a difficult steal, check the live target panel and observe a return instead of extrapolating an undocumented relationship.

What to look for

  1. 1:38Read the units

Basic shows +1 Speed/s and Silver +3 Speed/s in this recorded setup.

  2. 1:39Check the equipped state

The next frame shows Silver equipped and a −500 cash entry. Read your own menu before buying.

Keep a useful record

Use the short worksheet for this decision. Fill only the fields you can read or measure; leave an uncertain result marked unknown. A second observation is useful only when you can compare the same setup. Keep the date with your readings so a later balance change does not silently turn an old result into a current rule.

Plan training with a remaining-speed calculation

Added 20 October 2026. The procedure below is our editorial planning method; any numerical example is hypothetical.

Plan training with a remaining-speed calculation — practical worksheet
Worked example inputHypothetical valueMeaning
Target gap15,000 SpeedSubtract your current Speed from the live requirement.
Measured gain50 Speed per secondUse a continuous, unboosted reading from your own session.
Training time15,000 ÷ 50 = 300 secondsFive minutes if the rate stays constant.
With a short boostCalculate boosted and ordinary intervals separatelyDo not extend a temporary rate beyond the visible timer.

If the display is rounded, use a longer observation and report a range instead of false precision. Recalculate after a treadmill change. These values are examples for the method, not a current requirement or treadmill rate.
